A Non Toxic Hand Sanitizer
Hand Sanitizer Spray Recipe for Home Use
This recipe follows the World Health Organization’s guidelines for making your own hand sanitizer. Our formula is 87% alcohol which exceeds the minimum of 60% alcohol required to kill viruses and bacteria.
800 ml Grain Alcohol
40 ml 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
12 ml Glycerin
60 ml Rosewater or Plain Distilled Water
40 drops Essential Oil (optional)
Mix the solution by shaking the container gently. Divide up into final containers and place the bottles in quarantine for 72 hours before use. This allows the hydrogen peroxide to time to kill any spores present in the bottles. When ready spray on hands and rub until dry.
